Yes, Akshay Kumar is prepping-up for his debut in the Marathi Film Industry. The Houseful actor will be entering the Marathi Cinema with the upcoming movie Veer Daudale Saat.
In the film, fans will see Akshay Kumar playing the role of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. It is a historic character as Shivaji Maharaja was the great emperor of the Maratha empire. The film is being directed by senior actor and director Mahesh Majrekar.

The film, Veer Daudale Saat will revolve around the seven Maratha officers of Swarajya, who were appointed by Chhatrapati Shivaji. The film’s muhurat shot was held in Mumbai on 2 November 2022.
Akshay Kumar expressed his excitement while talking about his Marathi debut and the film. He stated, “It is an honour to play this role. It is actually a big responsibility to play such a legendary character. I feel so good to be playing this part. It is going to be a dream come true role for me.”

The senior actor-filmmaker Mahesh Majrekar also talked about casting the Bollywood superstar actor Akshay Kumar in this special project. He said, “No one better than Akshay Kumar to play the role of Hindu King. He has the correct image to play this role.”
