AP Dhillon’s Delhi Concert Cancelled Just A Day Before Performance! Reason Inside

AP Dhillon, along with Gurinder Gill and Shinda Kahlon, was on a concert tour in India for a few weeks. Brown munde had their shows in Mumbai, Chandigarh, Goa and more, Delhi was one among the places where the ‘Brown Munde’ concert was about to take place on 18 December, but it got cancelled. 

AP Dhillon’s concert was scheduled to be held on 18 December in the Aerocity area of Delhi but it has been ordered cancelled by the District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA). Orders for the same were issued by the Duty SDM who has given the directions to cancel the show because of the rules violations of COVID-19. The DDMA issued an order on 15 December where he prohibited all the social gatherings in the state from 16 December till 1 January 2022. 

The AP Dhillon’s live show was to be held as the inauguration ceremony of a restaurant at Andaz Hotel in Aerocity, New Delhi. A total of 400-500 guests were expected to be part of the show in the evening. But due to the alleged violation of COVID rules, it got cancelled. If the same would be confirmed then the event organisers would be booked under Section 51 to 60 of Disaster Management Act, 2005, Section 188 of IPC and some more applicable laws, for the violation. 

AP Dhillon has also posted an IG story where he apologetically informed the public about the cancellation of the Delhi show, He even wished to perform very soon in the capital. 

Earlier this month, an FIR was registered against the organisers of AP Dhillon’s Mumbai concert for allegedly breaking the COVID-19 protocols with a gathering of masses. Sara Ali Khan, Jhanvi Kapoor and Ibrahim Ali Khan were some bollywood stars among the live audience of the ‘Brown Munde’.
