Sara Ali Khan, daughter of Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh, made her first appearance at the Cannes 2023 Film Festival. She donned a full desi outfit for her first red carpet appearance, making India and its citizens proud. The fashion designers Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla created a pastel lehenga with a long veil for Sara Ali Khan’s Cannes debut. She finished the look with minimal traditional Indian jewelry.
According to the designers in an Instagram post, the actress wore an exquisite hand-embroidered multi-panel skirt to the red carpet. The duo of designers also highlighted that Sara’s ensemble is a masterpiece of craftsmanship, with a splendid blouse with intricate work in crystals, pearls, and resham work. Adding to the allure, the ensemble features two drapes in tulle—a gorgeous one-shoulder drape and a long-head veil. “Both drapes boast the finest shadow work, with the head veil embellished with tiny shadow dots and intricate borders.”

Esha Gupta looked stunning, leaving a lasting impression with her graceful presence. The actress sported a pastel pink gown with dramatic collars cascading to a plunging neckline with delicate lace flowers on the neck designed by Nicolas Jebran Couture. The dress also featured a thigh-high slit. Esha accessorized the look with silver block heels from Casadei and dangling earrings.
