Bigg Boss 17 winner and standup comedian Munawar Faruqui was taken into custody by Mumbai Police. In fact, on Tuesday, a raid was conducted in a hookah bar and the police detained seven people including Munawar present in the bar.
The police interrogated all the people and then released them. Elvish Yadav’s reaction has come on this entire incident that happened with Munawar on the night of 26th March.
Elvish Yadav took to X and posted on his social media regarding this incident without writing Munawar’s name.
He wrote that Does everyone’s bad time start after winning Bigg Boss? Elvish Yadav took a dig at Munawar without mentioning his name specifically but it was quite evident that Elvish was talking about the incident that happened with the standup comedian.
After the post, people started commenting fiercely on this post of Elvish. One user mentioned that Elvish doesn’t know how to handle fame.
Another user wrote that Now no one should go to Bigg Boss.
The police officer told Times of India that his team had received information that tobacco hookah was being used in the bar in the guise of herbal hookah.
Many things were found from the bar during the raid. These things are still being investigated. During this time, medical tests of the people present in the bar were also conducted.
According to the India Today report, Munawar’s medical test came positive and the case has been registered. However, for now Munawar has been released.
