But do you know that there were fake news and fake calls being spread claiming the casting for Filhaal-2? Yes, you read that right. Recently Akshay Kumar himself tweeter and updated his fans with this fake news and requested them to stay alert. He wrote, “Fake news at the time of Corona was heard already, and now fake casting is there too.”

Also, the label ‘Desi Melodies’ released an official notice, stating that they are not considering any casting audition for Filhaal 2. In fact, they will come up with the same cast continuing the story in the sequel of the song. So, the people are requested not to fall prey for any such fake call assuring casting for the song.
Lyricist Jaani also shared the same notice on his official Instagram handle, followed up by the Instagram story by B Praak as well.
Filhaal was a superhit song, in which the on-screen chemistry of Akshay Kumar and Nupur Sanon was loved by the audience.
