The Punjabi audience has always loved Jagdeep Sidhu’s work, and now the exceptional writer is all geared up to provide a laughter riot to the audience with his upcoming movie, ‘Godaay Godday Chaa.’ The film’s rib-tickling trailer released tomorrow, and within 24 hours, the trailer has garnered over 1.8 million views.
The movie focuses on the patriarchal rituals prevalent in Punjab back in time. The audience will again witness two of the most talented and loved Punjabi actresses, Sonam Bajwa and Tania, sharing the screen. The movie’s trailer has already been creating waves; however, a recent revelation has created a massive buzz in the Punjabi Industry.

In a recent Question and Answer session on Instagram, writer Jagdeep Sidhu asked about the best part of the trailer from his audience to which a user replied that the last part of the trailer referred to Sonam Bajwa’s dance, answering the same Jagdeep Sidhu revealed the choreographer of the song is Kruti Mahesh who recently won Filmfare award for Gangubai Kathiawadi’s Dholida.
Kruti is one of India’s finest choreographers who has made big Bollywood celebrities dance on her moves; she choreographed some of the best songs, like Dholida, ‘Ghoomar’ from Padmavat and more. Moreover, Jagdeep referred to the Kruti choreographed song as the film’s backbone.
And after this, one of the film’s lead actresses, Sonam Bajwa, also mentioned the same in her recent live session on her Instagram. She explained how the bhangra track was choreographed by Kruti in which she told Sonam to dance her heart out. However, the rest could be known with the song release. Moreover, Sonam revealed her crazy dance steps in the movie are inspired by some videos of elderly women’s dance at Punjabi weddings. In addition to this, Sonam asked her audiences to send her the mad Bhagra videos of them so that she could share them on her Instagram profile.
With every day passing by, the anticipation for the movie, ‘Godday Godday Chaa,’ is increasing. Under the best direction by Vijay Kumar Arora and an exceptional story by Jagdeep Sidhu, this movie becomes a must-watch.
