Sweetaj Brar is a name that caught the attention of Punjabi audience right from her singing debut in a duet-song with Famous Punjabi Singer, Prabh Gill for ‘Love You Oye’. Apart from this, Sweetaj has also entertained her fans with her another famous track ‘Care ni Karda’ featuring Yo Yo Honey Singh. This music track won millions of views on Youtube, and thousands of reels on Instagram.
But you’ll be surprised to know that it’s not now that she has been on screen, but she made her debut a long time ago. In an interview, while remembering her father Late Raj Brar, who was one of the most prominent singers of Punjabi Music Industry, she talked about her modelling debut in his Father’s music video. She stated, “At that time, I was just in 10th standard; I was looking super strange in that video. Papa took me there saying I am giving you a chance as you say that you wish to work. But don’t take it very much seriously as you have to complete your studies first. He just wanted to see whether I am capable or not. He prepared me entirely, and it went really well. He literally guided me before every shot.”
If you watch the video today, Sweetaj looks quite young and nearly unrecognisable in it. The song came out in 2014, and Sweetaj could be seen dancing and modelling in that video.
It is quite visible that Sweetaj’s charm has only increased with time and she has grown with grace.
