This song was a milestone in Gippy Grewal’s life. By the way, the video of the song is as approaching and impressive as the audio. Especially the intro, when Gippy and Yo-Yo Honey Singh enters on a scooter. Do you this, this shot of the song was not initially planned to be a part of the video.
Actually, it was like, the video of the song was being shot nearby Chandigarh and when the shoot was completed, a fan came to the shooting sets to meet Gippy Grewal. And when the security guards told Gippy about his fan, Gippy asked them to let him in. When Gippy saw his fan on a scooter and wearing a loyi/shawl, he got an instant nostalgia of his old days, when just like his fan, he used to visit his father in the farms to deliver him Tea and lunch from home. Then he though something and had a conversation with Yo-Yo to somehow shoot something just like this for the song. And then they took the scooter of the fan, wore caps and shot the entry scene, which is now really popular. Btw they wore caps, not for any fashion statement, but only because the shooting was over and they had removed all the make-up and hairstyling by that time. They didn’t want to do the styling again, so preferred wearing caps.

ਅੰਗਰੇਜੀ ਬੀਟ ਓਹ ਗਾਣਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਸਨੇ ਨਾ ਸਿਰਫ ਪੰਜਾਬੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਚਾਇਆ ਬਲਕਿ ਇਹ ਗਾਣਾ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਬਾਲੀਵੁੱਡ ਫਿਲਮ ਕਾਕਟੇਲ ਵਿਚ ਵੀ ਸੁਣਨ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਿਆ।

ਗੱਲ ਇਹ ਹੋਈ ਕਿ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਕਿਤੇ ਇਸ ਗਾਣੇ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੂਟਿੰਗ ਚਲ ਰਹੀ ਸੀ, ਤੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਗਾਣਾ ਸ਼ੂਟ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਗਿੱਪੀ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਣ ਓਹਨਾ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਫੈਨ ਸੈੱਟ ਤੇ ਆਇਆ ਸੀ। ਜਦ ਸਕਿਯੋਰਟੀ ਗਾਰਡ ਨੇ ਗਿੱਪੀ ਨੂੰ ਓਸ ਫੈਨ ਬਾਰੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਗਿੱਪੀ ਨੇ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਅੰਦਰ ਲਿਆਉਣ ਲਈ ਕਹਿ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਤੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਗਿੱਪੀ ਨੇ ਓਸ ਫੈਨ ਨੂੰ ਸਕੂਟਰ ਤੇ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਤੇ ਲੋਈ ਲਪੇਟੇ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਓਹਨਾ ਨੂ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੁਰਾਣੇ ਦਿਨ ਯਾਦ ਆਗਏ, ਜਦੋਂ ਓਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਫਾਦਰ ਸਾਬ ਨੂੰ ਖੇਤਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਚਾ ਤੇ ਖਾਣਾ ਫੜਾਉਣ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਸੀ। ਫੇਰ ਗਿੱਪੀ ਨੇ ਕੁਝ ਸੋਚ ਕੇ ਹਨੀ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਤੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਅਸੀਂ ਵੀ ਕੁਛ ਇਹੋ ਜਿਹਾ ਸ਼ੂਟ ਕਰਦੇ ਆ। ਤੇ ਓਦੋ ਓਹਨਾ ਨੇ ਓਸ ਫੈਨ ਤੋ ਸਕੂਟਰ ਲਿਆ, ਟੋਪੀਆਂ ਪਾਈਆਂ ਤੇ ਇਹ ਸੀਨ ਸ਼ੂਟ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ, ਜੌ ਕਿ ਅੱਜ ਬਹੁਤ ਮਸਹੂਰ ਹੈ। ਵੈਸੇ ਦੋਵਾਂ ਨੇ ਸਰ ਤੇ ਟੋਪੀਆਂ ਸਿਰਫ ਇਸਲਈ ਪਾਈਆਂ ਸੀ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਹ ਗਾਣੇ ਦਾ ਸ਼ੂਟ ਪੂਰਾ ਕਰ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਸੀ, ਤੇ ਓਹਨਾ ਨੇ ਸਾਰਾ ਮੇਕਅਪ ਤੇ ਬਾਲਾਂ ਤੋ ਜੇਲ ਲਾ ਲਿਆ ਸੀ। ਤੇ ਦੋਬਾਰਾ ਸਬ ਕਰਨ ਨਾਲੋ ਟੋਪੀ ਪਾਣਾ ਓਹਨਾ ਨੂ ਠੀਕ ਲੱਗਿਆ।
