In the video, a 10-year old is seen breaking down in front of the reporter when asked about his family’s financial status. The kid worked in the fields for a daily wage of Rs.10 to help in his father’s medical treatment. If you have a heart in your chest, the video will break it!
Himanshi Khurana was the first of the celebrities to ask for the whereabouts of the child by commenting on the post mentioned above so that she could provide the required financial help. Soon it was known that the family belonged to a village in the Gurdaspur district of Punjab. Even his contact details were shared.
And today, Himanshi updated through her social media that the required help has been provided to the family. The operation has begun and most importantly, the kids are happy now! Amritpal Singh Mehron served as the bridge between Himanshi and the family in need. He helped in making sure that the help extended by Himanshi reaches the family safely and after that, he brought us the most beautiful video chat between Himanshi and the kids!
She also took notes of the conditions the family and even the nearby families are living in. The families live in ‘Kacha’ houses with no infrastructure and not even a roof. Himanshi promised all of them to soon extend financial help to even those families.
Adding an important note to it, she requested everyone to no longer provide any financial help because the required help has been provided and she does not want any more money to be wasted. Whenever help will be required, the public will be updated.
