It looks like the Punjabi Film Industry has paced up and there is nothing that can actually stop it. After various movies, a new Punjabi movie has been announced recently. This upcoming and recently announced movie will be titled ‘Jind Mahi’ and will star Sonam Bajwa and Ajay Sarkaria opposite each other in the lead roles. And before you try to recall if these actors have ever shared screens together, then let us take you back to 2019 when Ardab Mutiyaran was released. Ajay played a supporting character in the movie but was casted opposite Sonam Bajwa.
Now talking about this upcoming feature film Jind Mahi, its poster has been released recently which says the movie is scheduled to hit the theatres in 2022. The film will be directed by Sameer Pannu who has also written its story along with Manmord Sidhu. The music of the film will be given by Goldboy, whereas it is being produced by Gunbir Singh Sidhu and Manmord Sidhu.
Jind Mahi will serve the audience with a perfect balance of romance and emotions. This project seems to be really interesting both for the fans and the team. Talking about the same, the team of Jind Mahi has opened up and expressed their feelings about this upcoming project.
Sonam Bajwa says, “It is always fun shooting for White Hill, and I am really touched by the script. Also, it’s my second movie with Ajay Sarkaria, the cute Punjabi Munda, rest I think all the BTS will make you more excited for this release”
The main lead, Ajay Sarkaria stated, “I am really excited for the project because of various reasons, one of them is my co-actor SONAM, who made it easy and fun for me for my debut: Ardab Mutiyaran, and secondly ‘coz we are shooting after really long time that too in UK. Looking forward for a great experience and a creative output which you all would love and enjoy”
And the director of the movie, Sameer Pannu says, “I have never felt such a rush of mixed emotions, where I am excited yet nervous. I have been working on the script from long and hoping that you appreciate the work made with all dedication”
The shooting of this movie is expected to start by the end of September 2021 in the UK. We are really excited about this upcoming project and we are already waiting for them to execute their plans as soon as possible.
