Justin Trudeau, the Prime Minister of Canada called Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi for COVID-19 Vaccine. Canada has requested India for a million doses of vaccine. In a recent tweet, Narendra Modi stated the same and assured that he and India will be providing best possible supplies of Vaccine to Canada.
PM Modi wrote, ‘Was happy to receive a call from my friend @JustinTrudeau. Assured him that India would do its best to facilitate supplies of COVID vaccines sought by Canada. We also agreed to continue collaborating on other important issues like Climate Change and the global economic recovery.’
Though it is presented a help and support, it will be an official and commercial purchase by Canada and India will grant export permissions for the same.
Justin Trudeau was highlighted already in India after he showed his support for the Farmers protesting in India.
