Actress-turned-politician Kangana Ranaut on Monday clarified that she neither eats beef nor any other kind of red meat. She posted on X and said that she is a “proud Hindu”. Kangana wrote that since she is campaigning, such a strategy will not work, tarnishing her image. She further said that her people know her and they know that she is a proud Hindu and nothing can ever mislead them.
This post of Kangana comes after ‘rumors’ spread online claiming that the actress eats beef. Some users on social media also found an old tweet of Kangana from 2019 in which she had written about her yogic lifestyle.
Earlier, Maharashtra Leader of Opposition Vijay Wadettiwar had also alleged that Kangana Ranaut had once tweeted that she likes beef and consumes it and the party has now given her a ticket to contest the upcoming elections.
Now, netizens have dug in deep and made a post by the actress viral in which she said that eating beef is not wrong. Netizens claim that Kangana deleted that post but now it has gone viral after the actress gave an explanation.
Kangana recently joined the Bharatiya Janata Party. The party has fielded Kangana from Mandi seat for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
