Maharashtra Police Issues LOC Against Lawrence’s Bishnoi's Brother

On April 14, there was a firing incident outside the house of actor Salman Khan in Bandra, Mumbai. In this regard, on Friday, April 26, the police has issued a Lookout Circular (LOC) against Anmol Bishnoi, younger brother of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. According to police sources, Anmol Bishnoi has recently been seen in Portugal.

The IP address of his Facebook post, in which he claimed responsibility for the firing incident, was found to be from Kenya. The officer further said that the police are considering taking Lawrence Bishnoi into custody. Who is currently lodged in Sabarmati jail of Gujarat.

Additionally, they are considering invoking Maharashtra Control of Organized Crime Act or MCOCA in connection with the case. A day earlier, the Crime Branch of Mumbai Police had written a letter to the Home Ministry requesting it to issue a Lookout Circular (LOC) against Anmol Bishnoi, brother of Lawrence Bishnoi. Anmol Bishnoi had attracted the attention of the police after his Facebook post claiming responsibility for the shooting at Salman Khan’s Mumbai residence.

Actually, there was firing some time ago in Ganganagar in Punjab. In that case, the arms suppliers arrested in Punjab are also accused and Lawrence Bishnoi is also accused. Therefore, Anmol Bishnoi’s connection is directly linked to the Salman case. Mumbai Crime Branch is going to take custody of Lawrence soon and will impose MCOCA in the entire case.
