The wedding season of the Indian Entertainment Industry is on as one after another, artists are getting married and stepping into a new phase of their life. And now another artist is searching for a life partner. Popular singer Mika Singh will look for his bride on Star Bharat’s reality show, which has been titled Swayamvar- Mika Di Vohti. Mika shared a promo of the show in a post on his Twitter account, which also included a link where those interested could apply to be a part of the show.
Speaking of the promo, it started with Mika sitting on a couch and grooving along to his song Dhinka Chika from the 2011 film Ready, and talking to his pet dog about the need for a life partner. Till now he has been singing solo but wants to do a duet in life, as enjoyment is possible with our own people only.
Finding a soulmate on a reality show is not a new trend. The Swayamvar trend was initially started by actress Rakhi Sawant back in the year 2009 wherein she got engaged to NRI businessman Elesh Parujanwala.
Regarding the show, Mika Singh is apparently very excited about it. Reports suggest that Mika won’t get married but will get engaged on the show. A source of TOI revealed that the reality show will be similar to swayamwars from the past. It will be broadcast in a few months. Mika will not get married on the show, he will only get engaged and will take his relationship further after that. Mika is really excited to be a part of the show. Not only this, contestants participating in the show will be from across the country.
