Gippy Grewal has hit the silver screens to entertain his fans with his new movie Mitran Da Naa Chalda. This film is a typical women centric film that focuses on the lives and struggles of four young women. In this Mitran Da Naa Chalda review we have discussed all the aspects including the story, performances, music, direction and more for you.

If you are a fan of Punjabi cinema, you must be eyeing to watch this film as soon as possible. This social comedy film has a lot to offer, but is this really worth your money to buy cinema tickets? We are sure you’ll have an answer to this question by the end of our Mitran Da Naa Chalda review.

Story

Mitran Da Naa Chalda’s Trailer Features A Lit Starcast In Courtroom Drama

The story of Mitran Da Naa Chalda is based on the lives of four young women who have left the comfort of their home to earn a living. But unfortunately they have to go through sexual harassment that affects their life badly. And when in self defense they kill a man, a strong case is filed against them.

You’ll see no lawyer agrees to take their case, and in this scenario Gippy Grewal steps in and decides to defend the girls in front of the law. And what happens next in the story, courtroom and in the lives of every character, is what the film has saved for you.

The story and screenplay of this film has maintained a great balance of comedy, drama and emotions, hence you will not feel bored at any point while watching Mitran Da Naa Chalda.

Acting & Performances

Mitran Da Naa Chalda’s Trailer Features A Lit Starcast In Courtroom Drama

The film, Mitran Da Naa Chalda features amazing actors like Gippy Grewal, Shweta Tiwari, Tania, Anita Devgan and more. While Gippy Grewal, Tania and Raj Shoker are seen playing the leading roles, artists like Shweta Tiwari, Anita Devgan, Nirmal Rishi and many more in pivotal and supporting roles.

If we talk about the most outstanding performance to add more details in our Mitran Da Naa Chalda review, Gippy Grewal is the one who shined the brightest. He played the role of a stammer lawyer, and the way he gripped the role was brilliant.

Apart from Gippy, Shweta Tiwari, Tania and Raj Shoker also delivered an appreciable performance in their parts. The supporting cast also complimented the overall quality of the film.

Music

Our Mitran Da Naa Chalda review is now heading towards discussion about the music of the film. Our opinion here might be controversial as we feel the music of this film was actually weak when compared to other aspects of the project.

The songs were good, but they have not added any points to enhance the feel of the film. In fact it felt, the film could have served better without songs placed in it.

Writing & Direction

Mitran Da Naa Chalda’s Trailer Features A Lit Starcast In Courtroom Drama

Mitran Da Naa Chalda is directed by popular director Pankaj Batra who has helmed successful movies like Goreyan Nu Daffa Karo, Bambukat, Jinde Meriye and more. And on the other hand, Rakesh Dhawan has penned the story for this women centric project.

Both of these artists have already proven their caliber in the industry. And with this project they have once again proved their worth. The story of this film is the major plus for earning positive reviews. And we highly appreciate Pankaj Batra for managing to direct such a sensitive story by not making it too heavy on head.

Overall

Overall, Gippy Grewal’s Mitran Da Naa Chalda is a complete entertainer. From the performances to the story and development of every character, a lot of hard work has been put in to make this film. Yes, the intensity of the film could have been increased to uplift the overall quality of the film. Also, another weak point in the film remains its music. The film’s playlist individually is good, but it doesn’t really compliment the film’s story.

We are now finally concluding this Mitran Da Naa Chalda review by stating the film surely is a must watch. The film serves the audience with a much required social message and it’s done in the most entertaining way possible. There is comedy, drama, emotions and some lessons for everyone, so without any double thoughts, you can go and watch Mitran Da Naa Chalda in theaters near you with your family and friends.
