One of the most talented actors, Nawazuddin Siddiqui who has earlier made to the headlines for being offered the Hindi version of Binnu Dhillon and Sargun Mehta’s ‘Kala Shah Kala’. But during that time it was not confirmed whether the actor will be a part of its Hindi remake or not.
But now all the guesses are clear as Nawazuddin took to his social media and shared the poster of the upcoming film ‘Noorani Chehra’. In the upcoming film, Nawazuddin will be sharing the screen with Kriti Sanon’s sister Nupur Sanon. It will mark Nupur’s debut in Bollywood Cinema.
While sharing the poster it has been seen that the actors are really excited about the shooting. The upcoming rom-com’s poster is very intriguing as it shows Nupur hiding her face behind her hands as Nawazuddin holds up two halves of lemon in front of his eyes.
Moreover, Mimi star Kriti Sanon has also taken to social media and disclosed that her sister is making her acting debut film with one of the most talented actors, Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
She shared the poster of her upcoming film ‘Noorani Chehra’ and penned a long congratulatory note. The actress also mentioned her desire to work with Siddiqui and wished luck to the entire team.
She added, “You are working with an incredible actor who I’ve always wanted to share the screen with! You’ve got the best to learn from! nawazuddin._siddiqui Good luck to the entire team of #NooraniChehra ! Its gonna be a quirky one!”
According to Koimoi, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Chairman and Managing Director, Panorama Studios, speaking about the idea behind the film, said, “The idea was to make a movie that gives the audience something to laugh about as well as think about.”
“In times when subjects like skin colour, body positivity and baldness have emerged in mainstream story-telling, it was time for a film to tackle a subject about looks head-on and share a worthy message! We are happy to announce a fresh Bollywood pairing of Nawazuddin and Nupur for this unique romance,” he further added.
Coming to the credits, the film is being helmed by Punjabi film director Navaniat Singh. The movie is bankrolled by Kumar Mangat Pathak, Aarushi Malhotra, Nandini Sharma, Neeta Shah and Bharatkumar Shah.
The shoot of the same has started and now the netizens are really excited to watch this upcoming remake of Kala Shah Kala in Hindi. It also has a promising crew, talented Nawazuddin and a new face, Nupur Sanon. The release date of the same has yet to be revealed. It will be interesting to see if the remake manages to replicate the success of the original film or not.
