Planning To Immigrate To Canada? Express Entry Rules To Change From 2023!! All You Need To Know

The number of Indians immigrating to Canada has increased rapidly for the past few years. Moreover, mostly from Gujarat and Punjab, a higher number of people move to Canada. However, as per the latest development, as a result of the nation’s labour shortage, many changes may come into effect from 2023.

As claimed in various media reports, Canada, which has numerous job vacancies, may issue permanent visa invitations for people having specific work experience and educational qualifications. Moreover, if this happens, it would be beneficial for a lot of working professionals looking to explore the opportunities abroad, and that too without spending a heavy amount on higher education.

Furthermore, this may be good news for those planning to move abroad and immigrate to Canada.  According to reports, companies in Canada have posted about 70% more job opportunities as of June 2022 than they did before the Covid pandemic.

Changes to Canada Express Entry are probably coming as a result of the nation’s labour deficit. Moreover, the modifications might be implemented in 2023. Moreover, as per the data and media reports, a total of 3,750 individuals received invites to Canada for permanent residency in the most recent express entry draw, an increase of 500 over the previous draw.

Furthermore, the data states that the invitations were sent to qualified applicants from the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), Canadian Experience Class (CEC), and Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP). The August 31 draw invited 2,750 candidates, while the September 14 draw invited 3,250. Moreover, the scores fell by eight or nine points for each draw, over the first five.

However, due to a backlog in applications because of the Covid epidemic, the express entry all-program drawings were suspended for roughly 18 months, starting in December 2020. Though, now the plan on changes in the express entry rules, allowing permanent visa applications for people having specific work experience and educational qualification, is seen as a good news for those planning to settle abroad in Canada.
