The Government of India has banned 59 Chinese Apps including TikTok. There is no doubt in the fact that Tik-Tok was the most popular application in India with millions of users. Where it entertained people with funny and lip-synced videos, it was also the reason behind many controversies. But it can be concluded that Tik-Tok was always a hot topic in India. Even after its ban, it is the talk of the town, as social media is flooded with memes and content related to it.

But according to a recent notice by Nikhil Gandhi, Head of Tik-Tok India, Tik-Tok authorities are meeting Indian Officials in response to this ban. In the notice, they mentioned,
“We have been invited to meet with concerned government stakeholders for an opportunity to respond and submit clarification. TikTok continues to comply with all data privacy and security requirements under Indian law and has not shared any information of our users in India with any foreign government, including the Chinese Government.”
TikTok was not only promoting songs and helping them reach masses but also it covered a huge part of Celebrities’ social media handles. Now all the TikTok users and TikTok is looking forward to this official meeting, let us wait and see what this meeting will result in.
