If you love watching Punjabi movies and are a fan of action and thrill, then a new film is soon going to meet you in the theater halls. No doubt Pollywood is slowly learning to master the fields of action, and the upcoming movie Mining is surely going to leave a benchmark.
The makers of Mining have officially announced the film starring Singga and Ranjha Vikram Singh in the leading roles. Earlier the film was titled Ziddi Jatt, and now it has been renamed to ‘Mining’.

The film is going to be directed by Simranjit Singh who is well known for helming movies like Kulche Chole, Jatt Boys Putt Jattan De and more.
The director of the film has shared the official poster of the film in which both Singga and Ranjha Vikram Singh are seen posing in rough n’ tough looks. In the announcement post’s caption, Simranjit has described the film as, “ਜਿਹੜੇ ਦੇਸ ਦੀ ਮਿੱਟੀ ਸੋਨੇ ਦੇ ਭਾਅ ਵਿੱਕਦੀ ਹੋਵੇ ਉਥੇ ਸੋਨਾ ਵੇਚਣ ਦੀ ਕੀ ਲੋੜ ਆ”
The project has been introduced as, “the True Business of Illegal Sand Mafia of Punjab. Majestic Duo Singga and Ranjha Vikram Singh on the Big Screen with the Movie “MINING” Rethey te Kabzaa.”
Apart from Singga and Ranjha Vikram Singh, the film will also star Sara Gurpal, Sweetaj Brar, Pradeep Rawat and more in pivotal supporting roles. Earlier this project was scheduled to hit the silver screens on 2 September 2022, but now it will be released on 28 April 2023. And not only in Punjabi, but the film will also be released in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu languages.

Now coming to the credits, apart from the direction, Simranjit Singh Hundal has also written the story and screenplay for Mining. And the film is presented by Running Horses Films & Global Titans.
