Renowned Comedian Raju Shrivastav’s Health Update: Family Releases Statement, Says He Is Stable

Renowned comedian Raju Shrivastav, who suffered a heart attack during his workout at a gym, has been admitted to All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), where he is recovering. However, there are a lot of rumours related to his health across the social media, but his family has released a statement on his health condition.

As per the health bulletin released by Raju Srivastava’s family, he is recovering and his condition is stable. Moreover, the family even added that the people must ignore the rumours spread on social media. He was admitted to AIIMS on August 10 after suffering a heart attack. Though he even went through the angioplasty the same day.

Raju Shrivastav’s manager Nayan Soni, in a statement given to news agency PTI, said, “His health condition is improving slowly. He has started responding to the treatment. There is a betterment in his health and he is even able to move his body parts a bit. He will be in the ICU and on a ventilator for now, as suggested by the doctors. The doctors have informed that he will be conscious in a week.” 

As per the media reports, the doctors are even playing his old videos and audios of various stage performances and acts, in order to make him respond fast. Reportedly, due to insufficient supply of oxygen after a heart attack, his brain has been affected, due to which the recovery is slow and doctors have decided to continue keeping him on a ventilator. 

Raju Shrivastav’s fans from across the country have been praying for his speedy recovery. The eminent stand-up comedian is known for his “Bihari Babu” roles and he even mimics various actors and politicians. Raju Srivastava gained a huge popularity through The Great Indian Laughter Challenge show in 2005.
