But the match ended on a bad note for Indians and Indian team as they lost by 10 wickets. But there’s no doubt that Pakistan has outperformed that day and they deserve the win. Interestingly on that surprising day, one very amazing thing happened.
Groups of Indian fans chant Jija ji (brother-in-law) to Shoaib Malik while he was fielding. The small clip has been flooding all over the internet, moreover, India’s tennis superstar and wife of Shoaib Malik, Sania Mirza reacted to the video and left in splits after watching it.
Many people took the comment section and praised Shoaib’s sportsmanship.
Further, this is not the first time Shoaib has heard ‘Jija Ji’ from Indian fans. Earlier, during the Asia Cup in 2018, some Indian folks took the opportunity to call him ‘Jiju’ while he was fielding. Interestingly, allrounder Malik turned with a smile and waved at them.
While Pakistanis are celebrating their historic win, Shoaib Malik has grabbed the attention for this quirky reason.
