Punjabi actor Ammy Virk has given the Punjabi film industry new heights. With movies like Sufna, Qismat, Nikka Zaildar trilogy and many more, he’s become the favorite actor of the audience. But do you know Ammy did a film only to make money?
In his recent interview on the show “Dil Diyan Gallan” with Sonam Bajwa, Ammy revealed that at one point of his life, he was in need of money and thus, did a project just for money.
In a segment of the show “Khol Dil Di Pol” host Sonam Bajwa asked Ammy Virk to confess if he’s ever done a project only for money. To everyone’s surprise, The star answered that he did the movie “Sat Shri Akal England” for only money purposes. He said that the team had thought that they would be able to make a wonderful film, but fell short of people’s expectations in some corners.

The star added that the construction of his house was in progress at his village during those times and he needed money because a couple of movies did not go as he’d planned. Ammy was initially to play the lead actor in the film “Lahoriye” but Amrinder Gill ended up playing the role. So, he was in great need of money at that point and he wanted advance for the movie. Else, it would have been a disgrace if the construction was stopped due to the non-payment of the labourers. Thus, the star played the lead in “Sat Shri Akal England”.
