Tania & Rajdip Shoker Talk About Regrets Of Being A Woman, Intimacy, Pay Gap & More! EXCLUSIVE

Tania and Rajdip Shoker are two of the finest actresses that we have in Punjabi Film Industry. Both of them have been part of some highly acclaimed projects, and currently, they are busy collecting appreciation for their recently released Punjabi movie Mitran Da Naa Chalda. The film is a women-centric film that revolves around the struggles faced by four women. And while talking about the same, both Tania and Rajdip Shoker also opened up about their personal views on various women-related issues in an exclusive conversation with Kiddaan. 

Both the actresses not only expressed their views on regrets of being a woman but also talked about intimacy before marriage, pay-gap in the industry and more.

While Rajdip said she regrets being a woman as men are paid more in the industry despite less or more they serve. She feels both male and female actors should be paid equally in the film industry. 

On the other hand, Tania threw light on intimacy before marriage. She said that a girl’s character should not be judged on the basis of her intimate life. She said, “If people have to determine a woman’s character if she has been in an intimate relationship before marriage, the same rule should be applied to guys as well.”


Rajdip also shared that she feels education for everyone should be free and compulsory. “Keeping aside the status, family background or any other basis, every child has the right to education and they should be served with it”, said Rajdip.

On the work front, both Tania & Rajdip Shoker were seen in Gippy Grewal’s recently released movie Mitran Da Naa Chalda. The film is directed by Pankaj Batra who is known for movies like Goreyan Nu Daffa Karo, Bambukat, Jinde Meriye and more. This project is presented by Zee Studios and Pankaj Batra Films. This highly anticipated movie is doing well in theaters and impressing both the audience and the critics.
