In an interview, while talking about that incident Karamjit Anmol said, “When my mother’s post cremation ashes were picked for immersion in the river; at that very moment, I was making the audience laugh by performing on stage. In that very show’s script, the last scene was dedicated to elderly only. Every artist on the stage was crying badly. Even the cries were loud enough.”
After the end of my performance, the promoter announced to the public about how Karamjit Anmol made everyone laugh; but himself he was going through such a tough moment of his life, and his mother was no more. Audience was so empathetic that old ladies and elderly men mourned his mother’s death. They all embraced him, and cried to make the artist feel better.
