Sidhu Moosewala’s Scapegoat brought a lot of disturbance in the Punjabi Industry. The artist let out his anger and lashed out at various others who mocked him following the election result. What followed was another track, ‘Shut Up’ by a singer named Khazala. Do you know who the singer actually is?
Khazala is a Punjabi singer, who sung, wrote and composed the song ‘Shut Up’. It was an intended reply to the comments made by Sidhu Moosewala in his song, Scapegoat. While this song has garnered over 300k views on Youtube in just 3 days, there are many other excellent songs by Khazala.
He has also released ‘Lalkaara’, which surpassed 389k views on Youtube and another ‘Socheo V Na’ with over 221k views. Many of Khazala’s songs focus on community issues. He has sung many songs in the remembrance of Deep Sidhu, who died in a car accident earlier this year.
His reply to Sidhu Moosewala did not stop at ‘Shut Up’. He went on to release another track ‘Shittar’, in which he again made various comments which seemed to be directed towards Sidhu Moosewala.
Khazala has a Youtube channel with over 22.5k subscribers. His Instagram account boasts of a 12.2k followership at the time of writing this article. Khazala has worked with many prominent faces of the industry like video director Rupan Bal, vocalist Gurlez Akhtar, music producer Jassi X and many others.
