16-Year Old Sikh, Ashmeet Singh, Stabbed To Death In London Over ‘Gucci Bag’

Ashmeet Singh, a 16-year-old young turban-wearing Sikh teenager was stabbed to death at his residential area, Southall in Hounslow, London in the UK on the night of 24 November. The internet is reacting to the regular killings of teens in London, as Ashmeet Singh’s murder takes the toll of teen-killings in London to 28 this year. The public has lashed out at the authorities for not ensuring enough safety to the teenagers living in London.

The reason behind the stabbing remains unsure but it has been reported that Ashmeet was stabbed over a ‘Gucci Bag’ that the teen always wore around him, as explained by his friends. The police arrived at Raleigh Road at about 9:00 pm on 24 November in response to a report.

The police arrived at the murder scene with parademics and the dead was identified as Ashmeet Singh, believed to be a 16-year-old teen. The emergency services made their attempts to save Ashmeet’s life but he died shortly after they arrived at the scene. His next kin has been informed of the unfortunate event and the authorities are currently waiting for a formal identification of the dead.
