Top Bollywood Actress Pooja Hegde, took it to Twitter to share her disappointment with the Indian Airline IndiGo’s staff. “Absolutely arrogant, ignorant and threatening tone used with us for no reason”, wrote Pooja Hegde in her tweet blaming an airline staff-member by the name of Vipul Nakashe for behaving rudely with them.
Pooja Hegde alleged that the mentioned staff member behaved rudely with her costume assistant for no reason while he and her team were flying out of Mumbai. Pooja Hegde’s tweet resulted in immense public backlash for the Indian airline.
IndiGo was also swift in replying to Pooja Hegde’s accusations. They came forward to publicly apologize for their behaviour and inconvenience caused to her and her team. “Thank you for taking the time to speak with us, Ms Hegde. We sincerely regret the inconvenience caused to you and would like to assure you that we are certainly looking into this matter to ensure that there are no recurrences.”, the airline wrote in an official apology.
IndiGo’s apology was soon followed by a reply from Pooja Hegde’s side. She accepted their apology but wrote that the apology should first be addressed to her costume assistant who was discriminated against by their staff member.

“Everyone deserves to be treated with respect, irrespective of where they come from or who they are. There’s a way to talk. You cannot claim that a purse counts as hand luggage and not allow an actual carry-on bag. More so, for no valid reason, you cannot threaten to deplane someone to show power.” wrote Pooja Hegde in her reply tweet. The airline is yet to react to this tweet.
