A positive news story from Brampton, Canada is doing rounds on social media. It is about the huge donation by a family to a foundation for the betterment of healthcare in the community. Bikram Dhillon, the CEO of BVD Groups has made a donation of $10 Million to a foundation called William Osler Health System.
The foundation took it to its official Instagram page to release the news about this massive donation. They also penned a thanking note for the Dhillon family which states, ‘Thank you to BVD Group and the Dhillon family, for your generosity and for helping to transform health care in the community, for generations to come.’
Not only this, the foundation also revealed the family has been a constant support to them as they had also donated $100,000 in 2020. This donation was made to the foundation’s Health Care Heroes Campaign during the global pandemic.
The official news story shared by the foundation also states, ‘This transformational gift from BVD Group will go toward the most urgent equipment and redevelopment needs across Brampton Civic Hospital, Etobicoke General Hospital and Peel Memorial Centre for Integrated Health and Wellness.’
Bikram Dhillon has also made comments regarding his massive donation, ‘I hope others will step forward and support our hospitals; every dollar counts to ensure that our community has the health care it needs and deserves for years to come.’

Bikram also revealed that all his four kids and nine grandchildren were born in Etobicoke Hospitals in Brampton. And he feels that donation is the best way to give back to the community.
