Fans were waiting for this film since its trailer was launched. Read this Buhe Bariyan movie review to know whether the film land upto the expectations or not.

Story

Beginning the Buhe Bariyan movie with some words for the story of the film. The plot of the movie revolves around a group of feminist ladies who has suffered a lot in the past from the patriarchal society. The group head Bhuro Bebe (Nirmal Rishi) always helps the needed and tortured ladies of the society. The movie basically moves forward on Bhuro’s feminist ideology. Bhuro Bebe decides to stand for Sarpanchi elections. Her rival tries many bad means to tackle her. But did Bhuro win the Sarpanchi? Or did Bhuro’s ideology prevail in the end? Watch the movie to know.

Movie has nothing that you haven’t heard of before, and the story is unique in itself. The way the story presents the need of feminism marking the real problems and suffering of women is just outstanding. Yes, it does seem out of track in the middle but towards the end it overlaps the flaws nicely.

Acting & Performances

Now’s time to enlighten the performance of actors in our Buhe Bariyan movie review. Starting with the gorgeous Neeru Bajwa. She is simply flawless. You have never watched anything like Prem Kaur’s role from Neeru Bajwa before. But Neeru was so good in her that you are gonna love every bit of her performance. We also felt that she could have got more screen time.

The star of the film is Nirmal Rishi mam. Everytime we see her on the big screen, the only question that arises in our mind is ‘How?’. How Nirmal Rishi mam could be so good everytime. She’s terrific.

Apart from these two superstar ladies, Rubina Bajwa, Gurpreet Bhangu, Anita Meet, Seema Kaushal, Jatinder Kaur, Rupinder Rupi and other actors have also done decent jobs.

Direction

Uday Pratap Singh and his team have pulled off a commendable task in the direction part. Movie has a stellar and big cast and to manage such superstars with so much talent is a tough job and the team has done it nicely. And while watching the movie you’ll never feel that things are overdone so kudos to the direction team again. But we feel that the screenplay gets messier in the middle and also Neeru Bajwa could have been given more screen time as her role was damn good and entertaining. If these things had been managed well, there’s no flaw that comes to our mind for now.

Music & Songs

Buhe Bariyan features some  melodious songs. ‘Dukhan Di Aukaat’ is our favourite song from the film. ‘Mutiyaran’, ‘Chimta’ and ‘Baagi’ are also treats for the ears. Also the ‘Veet Baljeet vs Jaswinder Brar Akhada’ sequence was very entertaining.

Overall

Now it’s time to conclude this Buhe Bariyan movie review with our final words for the film. So, Buhe Bariyan is a very nice attempt to mark the real root problems and sufferings of women in dramatic fashion. So for this, Team Kiddaan rates Buhe Bariyan 4 Stars on the scale of 5. The deduction in the ratings is only due to some minor flaws in the screenplay and short screen time of Neeru Bajwa. Apart from that Buhe Bariyan is a very good watch for you that is gonna make you laugh, emotional and socially aware at the same time. So just book your tickets and enjoy…
