Deep Sidhu’s brother, Surjeet Singh has lodged an FIR in Sonipat against the Truck Driver in Deep Sidhu’s death case. The whole state of Punjab went in shock when they heard about the news of actor Deep Sidhu’s death. Deep Sidhu’s car collided with a Truck on the Kundli-Manesar-Palwal expressway in Haryana’s Sonipat district, resulting in Deep’s death.
Surjeet Singh has alleged that the Truck driver suddenly applied brakes on the highway which resulted in the collision and in turn, death of the actor. The FIR has been registered under the charges Section 279 (rash driving) and 304A (causing death by negligence) by the Indian Penal Code.

Sonipat’s SP, Rahul Sharma said that the driver has been identified by the police and efforts are being made to locate and nab him. He also added that a partially consumed liquor bottle was also found in the Scorpio that Deep Sidhu was driving during the accident.
On 9 February, 2021, Deep Sidhu was arrested by the Police as the prime suspect of the Red Fort violence on 26 January, 2021. Delhi Police charged him for instigating a riot during the farmers’ tractor rally in Delhi. He was out on bail from judicial custody for a period of 70 days.
Deep Sidhu’s death has left people completely shocked. Punjabi industry, Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi and other prominent figures have also expressed their grief at the death of the actor.
