Did You Know Why Jagdeep Sidhu Cut Some Emotional Scenes From ‘Qismat’?

Director Jagdeep Sidhu is all set to release his most-awaited film Qismat 2. The first part of the film has garnered a lot of love from the audience. The director and other team members are very happy with the response that the movie is receiving. Further, ‘Qismat’ is a complete package of love, emotional and comic scenes.   But behind these comic scenes, there’s an interesting story shared by superstar Ammy Virk in one of the talk shows.

Ammy revealed, during the editing process, Jagdeep had to cut down a couple of serious scenes. As it’s hard for every director to cut short his movie, but that’s how things run in the respective field. The reason behind cutting the shots was their film Harjeeta.

Harjeeta is a sports-drama film written by Jagdeep Sidhu. The film got positive reviews from critics but commercially didn’t do well at the box office. According to Ammy, the film deserves a National Award, but it’s audience- the king and if they didn’t like it much it’s their choice. The film was too serious so they were scared that if Qismat also originated as a serious drama, then it might get the same response. So Jagdeep decided to curtail serious scenes and added comic scenes.

Ammy also shared that Qismat 2 has a unique story like the first part. The film has introduced few new characters and it is shot both in India and England. He also promised that the audience will notice and love the locations, as they will showcase a new image of England, where they will observe farm houses, crop fields and other basic Punjabi cultures.

Meanwhile, the film ‘Qismat 2’ has already been released. Now audiences are anticipating whether co-stars Ammy Virk, Sargun Mehta have a happy ending?
