The success story of Bhagwant Mann is a perfect inspiration. He went on from being a comedian, to a regional politician, to a Member of Parliament and now, Chief Minister of Punjab. As Punjab gave its mandate on 10 March and chose Bhagwant Mann as the 17th CM of the state, a bunch of videos started doing rounds of social media.
One of the videos went very viral. In that, a young Bhagwant Mann can be seen giving a comic performance on a stage. The best part of the video was that Congress’s leader Navjot Singh Sidhu was sitting at the judge’s seat and laughing at Bhagwant’s jokes. The video had much more to it than that! Bhagwant is seen making jokes on politics and government in the video.

The audience was left stunned. The once comedian, being judged by Navjot Singh Sidhu, making jokes on politics, today won the hearts of Punjabis, came into power by rewriting history and is now running the whole state. The clip is actually from an old Star Plus show ‘Laughter Challenge Joke Sabha’. Interestingly, Bhagwant Mann was eliminated from the show by the judges, of which Navjot Sidhu was a part.
The audience became much more interested in the clip when this was revealed. They couldn’t stop being amazed at the fact that the man, once eliminated by Navjot Sidhu from the show, today, his own party candidate, eliminated Navjot Sidhu from East Amritsar Constituency.
The video is the perfect example of why we should always be hopeful, keep working hard and wait for the right time to come. Bhagwant Mann will hold the office as the 17th Chief Minister of Punjab beginning from 13 March, 2022.
