Samajwadi Party Stalwart Mulayam Singh Yadav In ICU, PM Modi And CM Yogi Speaks To Akhilesh

Mulayam Singh Yadav, the “Bhishma Pitamah” of Indian politics, has been admitted to Medanta Hospital in Gurugram, after having some serious health issues. However, his son and former CM Akhilesh Yadav stated that “netaji” (Mulayam Singh Yadav) is stable. Though, as the news cracked, PM Modi, defence minister Rajnath Singh, CM Yogi, Priyanka Gandhi and many more leaders wished him a speedy recovery.

As per news agency ANI, Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke with former UP CM and Mulayam’s son, Akhilesh Yadav, assuring him of all possible help and assistance. 

Moreover, the health updates about Mulayam Singh Yadav will be given from time to time by Akhilesh Yadav, as stated by him in a tweet. Reportedly, Mulayam Singh Yadav, 82, is undergoing treatment since August 22. Mulayam Singh Yadav alias Netaji’s family members and well wishers have been teaching at Medanta Hospital in Gurugram, from Uttar Pradesh. 

As per the information, just a few hours back, Bihar CM Nitish Kumar spoke with Akhilesh Yadav, enquiring about Mulayam Singh Yadav’s health. Reportedly, Mr. Mulayam Singh is suffering from a urinary tract infection, and is under treatment for a long time, but when his condition seemed to get worsening, doctors moved him to ventilator support. 

Now the doctors, as claimed by several media reports, asserted that the next 24 hours will be critical. Furthermore, Mulayam Singh’s supporters from across the country are praying for his good health and speedy recovery. Moreover, he is one of the most senior MPs in the current Lok Sabha, having a huge political experience. Initially, Mulayam Singh was an Indian wrestler, a “pahalwan”, who then turned a politician, inspired by Shri Ram Manohar Lohia. 

Apart from being the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh for three times, he has served as a member of parliament for several times, and is currently the Lok Sabha MP from Mainpuri. In Uttar Pradesh, Mainpuri, Itawa, Azamgarh, Sambhal and the neighbouring constituencies are considered as the strongholds of Samajwadi Party. Moreover, Mulayam Singh Yadav has a massive fan base in these areas, and was even the Lok Sabha MP from Azamgarh and Sambhal earlier. 

He was first elected as an MLA in the year 1967 and served for eight times. Moreover, in the national emergency of 1975, Mulayam raised his voice in favour of Jaiprakash Narayan, was even arrested and kept in custody for 19 months during the emergency. Additionally, he is one of those politicians who have been a part of Indian politics since the Indira Gandhi era till now!
