Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashah is India’s most popular, loved and longest-running sitcom. The show has been running for the last 14 years and has earned massive popularity and love in every household. Show’s most popular and loved characters are Jethalal and Daya Ben played by Dilip Joshi and Disha Vakani (earlier).
While Disha exited from the show for maternity leave, it’s been five years since the show is running without Daya Ben. The makers of TMKOC had recently confirmed the comeback of Daya Ben in the show.

The auditions for the new Daya Ben are still ongoing and as per recent reports of various media portals like KoiMoi, E Times, and more, Kajal Pisal is all set to join the popular show as the new Daya Ben.
But is there any base to the news? The makers of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah have finally released an official statement regarding this viral news. In an exclusive conversation with Pinkvilla, an official spokesperson from Neela Films Production denied this news and said that this news is again a ‘rumour’ and holds no truth.

Earlier, names of actresses like Aishwarya Sakhuja and Rakhi Vijan also made headlines for reportedly being finalized for playing new Daya Ben’s character. But the viral news stories were soon put to rest by clearing the air.
So as per the latest reports, for now, no actress has been roped in to finally play the role of the new Daya Ben.
