And currently, he is busy promoting his upcoming and highly anticipated Netflix movie Jogi which stars Diljit Dosanjh in the lead and titular role
Ali Abbas Zafar has worked with Salman Khan most of the time, he really closely knows the Dabbang actor of Bollywood, and he has collaborated with Diljit Dosanjh for the very first time for a feature film.

In one of the recent interviews, Ali Abbas Zafar was asked about his experience working with the two actors. And to answer the question, Ali went on to compare the two stars. Surprisingly he said Diljit Dosanjh is very similar to Salman Khan. He in fact revealed that he used to keep telling Diljit Dosanjh,‘You’re a full Salman Khan haan’.
The Bollywood Hungama interviewer asked Ali Abbas Zafar, ‘Do you want to tell the audience the big difference between working with Salman Khan and Diljit Dosanjh?’. To this, Ali replied. ‘I think it’s almost the same. Both the stars are very chilled out. You know Salman, I’ve had my maximum fun on set with Salman sir, because he has a wicked sense of humour, he enjoys life, he is a people’s person. And the same is Diljit. So their core system, their genes structure is the same.’
Ali Abbas Zafar also went on to reveal that directing Diljit Dosanjh is bit difficult and Salman Khan is easier. ‘But Diljit is easier in a lot of other ways’, said the director.

Moreover, coming to the film Jogi, it is based on the 1984 Sikh riots. The teaser and trailer of the Netflix movie grabbed everyone’s attention and has become one of the highly anticipated projects of September. The film will be streaming on Netflix from 16 September.
