Neha Kakkar and Falguni Pathak have been trending on social media platforms for almost a week now. And all it happened over a song recently released by Neha Kakkar. We are talking about Neha’s latest song ‘O Saajna’ which eventually is a remake of Falguni Pathak’s evergreen superhit song ‘Maine Payal Hai Chhankayi’. The two singers got indirectly involved in an ugly online fight where they also fired shots at each other.
Immediately after the song was released on YouTube it grabbed everyone’s attention and attracted massive criticism. Netizens badly bashed Neha Kakkar for ruining one of their most favorite childhood songs. The comment section under the official music video of the song is still flooded with crazy comments slamming, trolling and criticizing Neha’s version of Maine Payal Hai Chhankayi.

Not only this, Falguni Pathak also made headlines when she reposted various stories on fans bashing Neha Kakkar. Then, she also appeared in an interview with Delhi Times in which she stated, “I got to know about the remixed version three-four days back. The first reaction was not good. I was like, mujhe bas ulti aani baaki thi, aisa ho gaya tha. (I was about to puke, it was like that).”
But now, it looks like the tables have turned the other side now. The two singers are seen happy in a recent promo of Indian Idol 13. Sony TV shared a promo on its official social media platforms, in which Neha Kakkar, Falguni Pathak, Himesh Reshammiya and more people are seen grooving on a special Garba night.

Neha Kakkar is also seen introducing Falguni Pathak by saying, ‘Bohat Hi Achha Din Hai Aaj, Theater Round Hai! Aur Iski Shuruaat Hum Mata Rani Ka Naam Leke Karein, Usse Zyada Khubsoorat Kuchh Nahi Ho Sakta. Aur Humare Beech Legendary Falguni Ma’am Aayi Hain…’
Things might have sorted between the two but netizens aren’t really very happy with this. Netizens are feeling betrayed as they did not like this way of promoting the song. People on the internet believe all this controversy was a Publicity stunt to promote Neha’s new song ‘O Sajna’.
