‘Roads Should Be Made Like Katrina Kaif’s Cheeks’: Rajasthan Minister In A Public Gathering

Are actresses’ cheeks similar to that of roads? While we don’t say that, many political leaders have now made up this as their campaigning remark. When reportedly, in 2005 RJD supremo Lalu Prasad said that the roads of Bihar would be made like Hema Malini’s cheeks, now a minister of Rajasthan has made an alike comment.

Rajendra Singh Gudha has come under criticism for her remark, ‘Roads should be made like Katrina Kaif’s cheeks’ in a public gathering in Udaipurwati and on people’s exciting response he was seen repeating it. Rajendra was recently appointed as a minister and just a few days ago he was given a portfolio of Sainik Kalyan, Home Guards, Panchayati Raj and Rural Development during the reshuffle of Ashok Gehlot led Rajasthan Govt.

When some villagers demanded that the roads of their area should be repaired then Rajendra Singh Gudha was seen making this comment, assuring the repairing of the roads.

In 2005, Lalu Prasad Yadav too reportedly made an alike comment that the roads in Bihar would be made like Hema Malini’s cheeks. However, he later denied and disagreed by saying that it was Atal Bihar Vajpayee who made this comment many years ago, not me and this was all made up by the people and media.

These results have been quite common by the political leaders, not only Lalu Prasad Yadav but a UP Minister Raja Ram Pandey, Chhattisgarh Minister Brijmohan Agarwal, in 2013, too said that the roads should be made like Madhuri Dixit and Hema Malini’s cheeks respectively.

Now as the Rajasthan minister was seen making this controversial remark, he is facing criticism all over the internet and people are demanding a response from Priyanka Gandhi Vadra who has been highlighting women’s issues and promising more political representation for women in the upcoming assembly elections.
