Netflix is soon going to entertain the cinephiles with an upcoming movie Darlings. Yes, the name of the film surely is very sweet and appealing, and so is its star cast. It stars Alia Bhatt and Vijay Arora in the leading roles and will follow an intense dark comedy storyline.
These details are enough to fascinate anyone and make us excited about the film’s release. The teaser of Darlings has recently dropped on YouTube and we actually liked it.

The teaser of Darlings begins with a voiceover of Alia Bhatt who is narrating the story of a frog and a scorpion. As the story proceeds, it talks about the breaking of trust and betrayal. And similar are the sequences happening on screen. So basically, the story of Darlings is expected to be dark with a pinch of humor in it.
Alia Bhatt and Shefali Shah will be seen playing a mother-daughter duo in the film, while Vijay Verma and Roshan Mathew will play the love interests of the ladies respectively.
This film is produced by Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment & Alia Bhatt’s Eternal Sunshine. The film will also mark the directorial debut of Jasmeet K. Reen who has earlier contributed to the screenplays of movies like Force 2, Fanney Khan and Pati Patni Aur Woh.
