The video also has a text written on it that reads, “King Kohli’s Hotel Room”. As the video went viral, it apparently also reached Virat Kohli. The cricketer shared the video on his social media handles and expressed his anger and disappointment against the same.
While sharing the video, he also penned a long note bashing the fans who invaded his privacy and shared the same on social media. He wrote, “I understand that fans get very happy and excited seeing their favourite players and get excited to meet them and I’ve always appreciated that. But this video here is appalling and it’s made me feel very paranoid about my privacy.”

He also went on to mention that he is not at all okay with this kind of behavior. He penned, “If I cannot have privacy in my own hotel room, then where can I really expect any personal space at all?? I’m NOT okay with this kind of fanaticism and absolute invasion of privacy. Please respect people’s privacy and not treat them as a commodity for entertainment.”
Various celebrities from Bollywood and across the world commented on Viral Kohli’s post and slammed the inappropriate act. Not only this, but fans also stepped in to stand by their favourite cricketer and slammed the people who made the video.
On the other hand, Bollywood actress and Virat Kohli’s wife Anushka Sharma also shared the video on her Instagram story and bashed the fans for capturing it. She wrote, “Have experienced a few incidents where some fans have shown no compassion or grace in the past but this really is the worst thing. An absolute disgrace and violation of a human being and anyone who sees this and thinks celebrity ho toh deal Karna padega should know that you are also part of the problem. Exercising some self control helps everyone. Also, if this is happening in your bedroom then where is the line?”

The video and incident have made headlines and attracted massive criticism for the accused.
