Punjab’s sports minister Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer has tied the knot with Dr Gurveen Kaur Bajwa on November 4, 2023. After their marriage in Chandigarh, a reception party will be organised for all the closed ones. Who is Gurveen Kaur Bajwa?
Gurveen Kaur Bajwa is the daughter of Bhupendra Singh Bajwa who is the director of Godwin Group and an official of Indian Olympic Association. Gurveen Kaur Bajwa is also a radiologist at the Medanta Hospital.
Gurveen did her schooling in Meerut from Sophia Girls School. After this she did MBBS MD from Subharti University. This was the first wedding of the Bajwa family because Gurveen is the eldest child in the family.
While Gurveen’s maternal house is in Chandigarh, the Bajwa Family settled in Meerut at the time of the Partition. The Godwin school of the Godwin Group is in Meerut, Rishikesh, Jaisalmer and Goa. Not only this, the Godwins have their own five star Godwin hotels, petrol pump and colony.
On the other hand, Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer is an MLA from the Barnala seat of Punjab. This is the second consecutive time he has become an MLA from Aam Aadmi Party.
