Today, Gippy has shared a great piece of news as this upcoming film titled ‘Widow Colony’ has finally got its release date. It will hit the big screens on 3 June, 2022.
If you are not aware of the name ‘Widow Colony’ we must tell you, It is a colony in Tilak Vihar in New Delhi, commonly known as the ‘Widow Colony’, is a place where the government provided shelter to thousands of families affected by the riots of 1984.
Further, analysing the poster of ‘Widow Colony’ you can see Punjabi widows in it, as Punjab faced destruction during the time of 1984.
It is clear that the film ‘Widow Colony’ will be based on the tragic loss of lives and dreams in the 1984 riots of Punjab.
Coming to the credits of the film, ‘Widow Colony’ is written and directed by ace director Smeep Kang, while it is produced by Gippy Grewal as the film is presented under the banner of Humble Motion Pictures.
