We all know how phenomenal Ayushmann Khurrana is as an actor but what makes him more special is his script selection. Ayushmann always tries to bring something unique for his audience.
His movie’s collection includes stories of different variety such as a story of a sexually weak man (Shubh Mangal Savdhaan), old-age pregnancy (Badhaai Ho), Homosexuality (Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan) & many others. And!! Ayushmann is not stopping here. He has come with a fresh new story of a Gynecologist doctor titled ‘Doctor G’.
Trailer of ‘Doctor G’ was launched on Tuesday and it is looking promising. The trailer begins with Dr. Uday Gupta (Ayushmann) got beaten up after asking a lady patient to lift her skirt. As the trailer progresses, Ayushmann looks frustrated after he has to unwillingly study gynecology. He even asks his batchmates to swap the course with him as he wanted to pursue Orthopaedics.
Later, Rakulpreet Singh enters the scene and is seen to be pulling the leg of Ayushmann. However, in the later half of the 2:55-minute long trailer they can be seen kissing, so it’s obvious that they are going to form a pair on-screen.
The trailer becomes more interesting when the acting maestro Shefali Shah, appears as a senior doctor Nandini and suggests Ayushmann to lose his ‘Male Touch’. How Dr. Uday Gupta will lose his male touch in this rib-tickling story is what this movie is going to be about.
As already discussed above, the trailer looks fantastic. Ayushmann is looking perfect as the doctor in dilemma. His comic timing & dialogue delivery are on-point. The movie has a good cast and we are super excited to see Shefali Shah on the big screen with Ayushmann and Rakulpreet. Now being more honest to talk about the best part of the Doctor G trailer, Sheeba Chaddha. She was fabulous. She merely got 2 or 3 scenes in the trailer but she literally spit fire on Ayushmann with her words only..Outstanding!!.
Movie’s music sounds average in the trailer for now. So we have to wait for the release of the movie’s full songs to know whether it has good songs or not. Overall, this experiment of Ayushmann Khurrana looks fantastic and we hope it does well at the box office in this dull year for Bollywood films.
