Jodi Trailer REVIEW: Diljit Dosanjh & Nimrat Khaira’s Musical ‘Jodi’ Is Finally On The Ground With Their ‘Akhaada’

The amount of patience Punjabi cinema audience has, is really commendable; as the movie we are talking about today has tested our patience to another level. Jodi hasn’t made the viewers wait for some months or weeks but for years. But we are glad that this Jodi has eventually arrived at the party. Diljit Dosanjh and Nimrat Khaira starrer Jodi’s trailer is FINALLY out on Rhythm Boyz Youtube channel.

The trailer kicks off with Diljit’s character (Amar Sitara) presenting his art in front of people and steadily getting his musical partner, Nimrat’s character (Kamaljot), in the game with him. Sitara & Kamaljot’s struggle to get some shows to perform together to finally shine among the audience, depicting the entire journey of both the lead characters.

Supporting characters are well handled by Ravinder Mand (as Sitara’s friend), Hardeep Gill (as another artist), and Harsimran (as a negative character). Harsimran gets into the scene when everything has just started going well and both Sitara & Kamaljot decide up on spending their lives together. He plays the negative character to break this bond which eventually turns up into worst scenarios.

The cinematography of Jodi is meant to be appreciated as the trailer gives an insight of how well the film has been shot considering the old times in musical areas. Apart from this, the music of Jodi looks finely promising, already. Diljit Dosanjh, Nimrat Khaira, Raj Ranjodh, Happy Raikoti, Tru Skool, Veet Baljit and Harmanjeet Singh have altogether handled the musical department of this upcoming musical ride.
