‘I Will Go To Jail If…’ Sidhu Moosewala’s Father Slams Police & Authorities

It’s been more than two months passed since Sidhu Moosewala’s murder in May 2022. And the case has not reached a major turning point as none of the masterminds has been arrested or proven guilty.  

Sidhu Moosewala was shot dead by gunmen on 29 May near Mansa. Tihar’s prisoner Lawrence Bishnoi and Canada-based gangster Goldy Brar are believed to be the masterminds of the case.

While Goldy Brar is still out of reach, Lawrence Bishnoi is in police custody already. Now, Sidhu Moosewala’s father Balkaur Singh Sidhu has expressed his disappointment against the kind of treatment Lawrence is getting. 


He feels Lawrence is getting special treatment, where in reality he should be treated like any other criminal. Not only this, but Balkaur Singh Sidhu even stated that there was no fault of his son Sidhu Moosewala. If Sidhu Moosewala is proven at fault, I am ready to go to jail, said Moosewala’s father.

He said, ‘Hundreds of cases are registered on them (Lawrence Bishnoi). Tell the government why it has been kept in custody. Their protection should be removed. They should go to court like a normal accused. Sidhu was not at fault. If Sidhu has committed even a trifle of fault, I will go to jail myself.’


According to a report of Pro Punjab TV, Balkaur Singh Sidhu also stated, ‘Police can catch criminals. Moosewala killers are out of control. Masterminds Lawrence and Goldie are plotting while sitting in a prison-like Tihar. On the third day, he also gives an interview on the channel. How much freedom do gangsters have? Laws are for the common man. While gangsters are taking advantage of them.

Balkaur Sidhu has continuously stood strong and raised his voice to seek justice for his deceased son.
