The Bollywood Film Industry is going to witness the release of Aamir Khan’s most talked about and anticipated movie; Laal Singh Chaddha. The film will hit the silver screens on 11 August on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan in India.
Laal Singh Chaddha is currently creating a buzz on social media, as various people are wishing to boycott the film. And on the other hand, another section of the internet stands in support of the film.
Recently, Bollywood’s controversy queen Kangana Ranaut also stepped into the hot debate. The Dhaakad actress went on to troll Aamir Khan badly. She even accused Aamir Khan of purposely curating negativity about Laal Singh Chaddha to indirectly promote it.
Kangana took it to her Instagram story and shared a long note bashing Aamir Khan and his movie Laal Singh Chaddha.
Kangana wrote, “I think all the negativity around the upcoming release Laal Singh Chadda is skillfully curated by mastermind Aamir Khan Ji himself. This year, no Hindi films have worked (barring one exception of a comedy sequel) only south films deeply rooted in Indian culture or with local flavour have worked. A Hollywood remake would have not worked anyway.”
The actress also went on to add, “But now they will call India intolerant, Hindi films need to understand the pulse of audiences it’s not about being a Hindu or Muslim. Even after Aamir Khan ji made Hinduphobic PK or called India intolerant, he gave the biggest hits of his life. Please stop making it about religion or ideology. It takes away from their bad acting and bad films.”
But now, it looks like she is not shooting arrows in the air. As the director of Laal Singh Chaddha, Advait Chandan recently decided to address Kangana indirectly. After Kangana’s statement went viral, Advait too took it to his Instagram account and took an indirect dig at the actress.
Advait wrote, “I am told there are people being paid to troll Aamir Sir. This is deeply upsetting to hear and it’s outright unfair. Why have I been trolling him for free?” Advait wrote as he shared the hashtag ‘Pay Every Troll’.
Moreover, Laal Singh Chaddha stars Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan in leading roles. The film is the official remake of the 1994 Hollywood movie ‘Forrest Gump’. It was based on Winston Groom’s novel with the same name that was released in 1986. The film starring Aamir Khan will be released on 11 August in a clash with Akshay Kumar’s Raksha Bandhan.
