India is a country with enormous mythological and holy tales. And the various film industries of the country are now trying their best to portray the same through cinematic art.
You must have come across the big news of the making of Ramayana. The upcoming bollywood movie is going to be India’s biggest and is the most anticipated project for current times.

The film, as the name suggests, will be based on various tales of Ramayana. Also, it is reported that Ranbir Kapoor and Hrithik Roshan have been roped in to play the roles of Lord Shri Rama and Ravana respectively.
A source close to the development revealed to Bollywood Hungama, “Ramayana is among the biggest Indian films of all time and the makers have pulled off a casting coup by signing two of the biggest millenial stars – Hrithik Roshan and Ranbir Kapoor. Both the actors have agreed in pricipal to be a part of this film and have tentatively blocked their calenders from mid next year for Ramayana.”
The film is most likely to be directed by Nitesh Tiwari who has helmed movies like Dangal, Bareilly Ki Barfi and more. Also, it is believed that Deepika Padukone might play the role of Sita in the mythological drama. Though, no actress has been confirmed to play the role in the film yet.

The shooting of Ramayan is expected to go on floors by mid of 2023. And the announcement regarding the same with finalized star cast will be officially made on the occasion of Diwali this year.
The source also quoted, “The paperwork still remains and the same is expected to be done once Nitesh Tiwari gives a final narration of his Ramayana Rendition. It will be a high on VFX story, staying true to the roots of Ramayana.”

Ramayana is going to be made with a whopping budget of more than 800 Crores. The film is already the most anticipated and exciting project in making. The fans are excited to know more about the project to finally see it go on floors.
